Greetings

Welcome to the November newsletter from ISSA PHYSICAL THERAPY & WELLNESS.

  HAPPY THANKSGIVING

In our line of work, we are often reminded of the important things in life as we see patients recovering from limitations to return to the things they find joy in.

Thanksgiving and the change of seasons gives us an opportunity to reflect on the things we have to be thankful for.

We would like to wish you and your family a great Thanksgiving.

Understanding Shoulder Dislocation

A shoulder dislocation is a disabling condition of the shoulder that can occur due to a fall, injury or other traumatic event. The pain associated with a shoulder dislocation is usually sudden and severe and affected individuals will be extremely hesitant to move their shoulder. If you suspect an acute shoulder dislocation that doesn’t spontaneously resolve, please visit your nearest Emergency Department for evaluation and joint reduction. Physiotherapy can help to rehabilitate your whole shoulder girdle after shoulder dislocation, and help to prevent future dislocations.
