Greetings

How are you doing? I hope that you are doing OK with whatever you are currently dealing with.

It's been 2 weeks now since we all have had to get used to social distancing and mostly isolating ourselves from life outside our homes. I'm sure, for most of us, it's been hard being out of our routines.

I just wrote a blog on what I am doing every day in my life to stay healthy and sane during this time. If you have the time check it out for yourself: 5 Things I Am Doing Daily To Boost My Health & Immune System During These Challenging times... and it doesn’t involve wearing a mask!

Let me summarize it for you. I'm prioritizing MY HEALTH FIRST... because I have to do everything I can do to stay healthy first in order to be of help to myself, my family, and my patients. Now, let me be clear, this list is what I AIM to do. I'm not perfect and I do fall short at times. I have all the same challenges and barriers to prioritizing good habits in my life that everyone else does. But I'm making it my priority, my focus, above everything else.

On a personal note, my family and I are hanging in there. Getting used to our new way of life. Other than what I listed in the blog, I am also trying to do the things I love to do that I haven't had the time to do. Like gardening, cooking, and spending time outside with my kids. Here are some pictures from a hike we took last week at Sugarloaf Mountain near Fredrick, MD.

I hope you are trying to take care of yourself and stay sane during this time too. There are 2 things that bring me HOPE out of this crisis. First, we are all in this together and there is some solidarity in that. Secondly, there are silver linings to be had out times of difficulty and struggle. That may mean closer relationships, prioritizing health, gratitude for what we do have. You just have to look for those positive things and be thankful for them.

I want to let you know that I am here for you in any way that I can be. If you are a senior and you need something that you can't leave your house for, I can help. If you are dealing with aches and pains that you don't know what to do with, I can help. If you just need someone to listen, I can help.

I wish you well during this time and always. Sending you and your loved ones good vibes and positive energy.

Please keep in touch!

Be Well... and RESILIENT,
