Current research suggests that approximately 25% of the populations in developed countries experience chronic pain. It is currently estimated that 116 million Americans have persistent pain. In addition, chronic pain rates have steadily increased over the past two decades. The latest research shows that the more you know about pain and how it works, the better off you’ll be. Tamer Issa has been a licensed physical therapist for 15 years. He has extensive training in manual therapy, dry needling, and functional rehabilitation. He also is published, teaches, and lectures at conferences. Dr. Issa has a particular interest in helping people in persistent pain to reach a place of less pain, better mobility and improved function.
