Update on opposition of HB979/SB580

To our patients, clients, colleagues, friends and family,

We have had a great response to our petition distributed online last week.  We thank you for the over 360+ signatures so far!  We need as many signatures as possible.  Please sign if you haven't.

The hearing and possible vote on this bill is still scheduled for Thursday March 5th in Annapolis in the Senate Education, Health & Environmental Affairs Committee.

  1. We would love your support by testifying in person on March 5th in Annapolis, and feel this is the strongest way to voice opposition.  Our staff will be there!  Please contact us directly for more details at 301-231-0095 or info@issapt.com

       2.  We are still requesting letters stating your opposition.  See the details below for instructions:

a) Please download the Dry Needling Template and sign.

b) Add some brief personal testimonial about your personal experience with dry needling (we have left a space in the attached template for you to customize with your testimony).  Letters should be no longer then one page in length.

c) Please email a copy of your letter to the following individuals:

        - Sen. Joan Carter Conway: joan.carter.conway@senate.state.md.us

        - Honorable Peter Hammen Chairman peter.hammen@house.state.md.us

        - Sen. Catherine Pugh catherine.pugh@senate.state.md.us

d) Feel free to send a copy of the letters to our office via mail or email (info@issapt.com or 6010 Executive Blvd, Ste 704; North Bethesda, MD 20852).

We are asking for submission of all documents above by March 2nd!

Please take action as soon as possible.  We thank you in advance for your support!
